Membership Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Membership Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to paid Confidant Hearts memberships and other paid services offered directly by Confidant Hearts.

Specific pricing, membership periods, features, renewal terms, and payment information will be presented before a member completes a purchase.

By purchasing a paid membership, you authorize the applicable membership charge presented to you at the time of purchase.

Any applicable taxes or other legally required charges may be added to the purchase price where required.

If a membership is offered as an automatically renewing subscription, the renewal terms, billing frequency, and price will be disclosed before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated during purchase, an automatically renewing membership will continue until it is canceled.

Members may cancel an automatically renewing membership using the cancellation method made available through Confidant Hearts or the payment provider through which the membership was purchased.

Cancellation prevents future renewal charges. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated at purchase, cancellation does not automatically create a refund for time already purchased.

Unless otherwise stated or required by law, a member who cancels may continue using paid membership features until the end of the membership period that has already been paid for.

The membership will then revert to the level of access available without that paid membership unless another membership is purchased.

Payments are generally non-refundable once a paid membership period has begun, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where Confidant Hearts determines that a refund is appropriate under the circumstances.

A member who believes a charge was made incorrectly may contact Confidant Hearts through the available support method and provide information sufficient for the charge to be reviewed.

If you believe you were charged more than once for the same transaction or charged an incorrect amount, contact Confidant Hearts support so the transaction can be reviewed.

If you believe your payment method was used without your authorization, contact your payment provider promptly and notify Confidant Hearts through the available support channel.

Cancellation of a membership and termination of a Confidant Hearts account are separate actions.

If an account is suspended or terminated for violating the Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, or applicable law, the member may not be entitled to a refund except where required by applicable law.

Deleting a Confidant Hearts account does not necessarily cancel a recurring payment arrangement handled separately by a payment provider.

Members should cancel any active recurring membership through the applicable cancellation method before deleting their account.

If Confidant Hearts later offers purchases through an app store, marketplace, or other third-party billing provider, cancellation and refund requests for those purchases may be governed by that provider's billing and refund procedures.

Confidant Hearts may change membership plans, available features, or pricing from time to time.

Changes affecting an existing recurring membership will be communicated as required by applicable law before they take effect.

Nothing in this policy limits cancellation, refund, or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Confidant Hearts may update this policy as membership, payment, or legal requirements change.

The effective date displayed on this page will be updated when changes are made.
